About the Team
The consultant will join the Professional Services team at Nutanix, based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This team emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, aiming to deliver exceptional value to customers by ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of Nutanix solutions. The mission of the Professional Services team is to act as trusted advisors, facilitating customers' digital transformation journeys and enhancing their overall success.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services, who fosters a supportive and empowering leadership style that encourages open communication and collaboration within the team. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements, with minimal on-site requirements, enabling you to focus on delivering value from your designated workspace.
This position does not require any travel, allowing you to concentrate on providing outstanding customer support and engagement directly from your designated workspace without the need for on-site visits to customer locations.
Your Role
  • Monitor and maintain the health of production infrastructure to proactively address issues.
  • Assist customers in adopting and optimizing Nutanix solutions for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to efficiently resolve technical challenges.
  • Develop and present a comprehensive roadmap for customer activities over the next 6 to 8 months.
  • Advise customers on best practices, reference architecture, and validated designs related to Nutanix.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and effective problem-solving.
  • Build expertise in virtualization technologies and Nutanix products to enhance customer success.
  • Contribute to a innovative, customer-centric team culture focused on exceptional service delivery.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient in VMware skills and architecture, including production VMware cluster management.
  • Strong understanding of storage concepts in virtualization and VMware internal networking architecture.
  • Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting abilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating discussions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Nutanix portfolio products is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt a customer-centric approach and engage effectively with clients.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
