The Opportunity

Nutanix is disrupting the multi-billion dollar cloud infrastructure market by pioneering the first hybrid cloud platform that can incrementally scale out to manage petabytes of data while running tens of thousands of virtual machines. This brings about exciting new challenges in building a cloud-scale distributed control plane that can serve a multitude of applications.

You will work on new AI initiatives and feature consumption services that determine when and how Nutanix users leverage our software and services. This core capability will serve as a foundational platform to be utilized by other Nutanix features as well as consumers.

 

About the Team

At Nutanix, you would be joining the SAAS team distributed across the United States and India. You will report to the Senior Director, SaaS Engineering, who leads with expertise, guidance, and a strong focus on professional development. As part of our hybrid work setup, you will be required to work in the office 3 days per week, allowing for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. While office attendance is encouraged for team synergy and project alignment, we understand the importance of a flexible work environment.

Your Role

• Design and build scalable, high-performance control plane software for enterprise and hybrid cloud with AI and multi-agent capabilities.
• Develop AI platform features integrating with Nutanix products leveraging AI and intelligent automation technologies.
• Build RESTful services following best practices for enterprise and SaaS integrations.
• Contribute to cloud and on-prem web applications with AI-enabled user experiences.
• Create scripts and tools for automation, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams with strong ownership and communication.
• Work with support and field teams to resolve complex technical issues.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in developing AI-powered applications and multi-agent systems, including agent coordination, orchestration frameworks, and scalable intelligent workflows.
• Passionate about programming and problem-solving, with a strong focus on writing clean and efficient code.
•  Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Solid understanding of core Front-end and Back-end concepts.
• Experience in developing web-based user interfaces using Javascript and ReactJS.
• Experience with server-side programming using NodeJS/ExpressJS, along with database integration.
• Experience in Python or Go is an added advantage.
  
   

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
