Youth Inpatient Unit Clinical Supervisor – Full-Time (MA Degree and MHP Required)

Hiring Range: $74,443.20 - $93,038.40 per year

$3,000 sign-on bonus

Join our team as our Youth Inpatient Clinical Supervisor and make a positive impact in the lives of youth and their families. In this role, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision to our acute services youth team through direct clinical work and supervisory support. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate staff. Update job descriptions and monitor required training.
  • Program Collaboration: Regularly consult with the Director regarding program aspects. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on admissions and milieu management.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to therapists, discharge planners, and peer support specialists. Support staff in delivering therapy services.
  • Train and coach staff to align with Acute Services treatment philosophy and values.
  • Documentation: Review clinical and clerical records regularly and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide on-site clinical support and coordinate staff coverage.
  • Assist in resource management, including case assignments and treatment plans.
  • Monitor and coach staff to achieve program goals.
  • Community Engagement: Represent KMHS positively in the community and build positive working relationships with youth-serving agencies.
  • Facilitate team meetings, consultations, and educational activities

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.

EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC 388-877-0500. Child Mental Health Specialist.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 7+ years of experience)

Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment. Two years of supervisory experience

LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC).
