Hiring Range: $26.89 – $33.61 per hour

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for mental health care? Kitsap Mental Health Services is hiring an Access Screener Supervisor to provide leadership, supervision, and support to our dedicated Access Screener/Coordinators. In this critical role, you'll ensure that individuals seeking care receive prompt, high-quality behavioral health services while supporting your team in maintaining excellence in client care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Access Screener/Coordinators, ensuring they meet KMHS Access standards and policies.
- Triage service requests via phone or walk-ins, providing crisis services and resource referrals as needed.
- Utilize de-escalation skills and clinical judgment to assist individuals in distress or experiencing a behavioral health crisis.
- Collaborate with community partners and internal departments to coordinate care and ensure clients can access resources and services.
- Become certified as a Navigator/Assister through the Washington Health Benefits Exchange to assist clients in Medicaid funding and benefits enrollment (can be obtained after hire).
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of KMHS services, community resources, and electronic medical record systems to effectively support your team and ensure compliance with standards.
- Coordinate referral processes and monitor compliance and data integrity within the electronic medical record system.
- Assist with managing departmental guidelines, implementing new policies, and providing leadership in the Access Manager's absence.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
LICENSURE: Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor license. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable, insured transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experience working with behavioral health consumers in a clinically oriented setting. Experience entering data into an electronic medical record
