Hiring Range: $74,443.20 - $93,038.40 annually

The Classroom Supervisor provides supervision of the day-to-day operations of the classrooms. Ensures that program goals are established and being met, that appropriate levels of services are being provided to consumers, and facilitate continuity of care for consumers. The Clinical Supervisor assumes primary clinical responsibility for providing services and supervising program staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans for Madrona Day Treatment consumers. Support the formulation of program goals, clarify the theoretical framework which guides treatment, and establish criteria for admission into the program.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of the program schedule, assuring the development of programs that meet consumers' emotional, developmental, and educational needs. Ensure appropriate levels of staffing to carry out program activities.
- Ensure the provision of individual, family, and/or group therapy services as necessary to make certain that all consumers have access to ongoing, coordinated behavioral health services.
- Provide clinical direction and supervision for program staff. Support the development of clinical plans for each consumer and guide the implementation of these plans.
- Actively participate in the monitoring of consumer progress and adapt treatment to match the emerging clinical picture.
- Attend to the maintenance of positive staff morale and teamwork; provide opportunities for training, team building, or other activities to establish a positive, supportive, and therapeutic environment. Attend to personnel issues as they arise.
- Work directly with the other KMHS C&F program staff and with school district personnel in the triage of program referrals.
- Provide in-program coverage to ensure appropriate staffing levels, supervision, and maintenance of Madrona Day Treatment activities. Provide backup crisis intervention/emergency support to the program and staff.
- Develop and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with KMHS programs, school district personnel, and other public or private agencies to provide an essential level of care for consumers and further enhance the agency's overall mission and goals.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork for clinical purposes is fully completed accurately and timely, including completing annual performance reviews for program staff.
- Provide consultation, education, and/or training to KMHS staff, school personnel, or designated others regarding Madrona Day Treatment, clinical issues related to emotionally troubled youth and families, or issues related to continuity of care for consumers.
- Participate in meetings/committees within KMHS and the community as needed.
- Recruit, hire, and develop qualified staff, including ongoing coaching and conducting performance appraisals.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.
EXPERIENCE: Specialist (minimum 5 years of job-related experience)
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable, insured transportation
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
Food handler’s Permit
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.
EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 7+ years of experience)
Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment. Experience with administration and program development. At least two years of previous experience as a supervisor.
