Full-Time Bilingual Therapist - Inclusive Community Care Team
Hiring Range: $31.80 $39.19 Per Hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services, including individual, group, family counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to assigned clients.
  • Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise overall treatment goals and plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Use evidence-based practices to educate and support clients’ families and advocate for clients’ rights and preferences, considering their level of acculturation.
  • Advocate for clients' well-being and access to healthcare within the agency and the community, referring them to beneficial resources.
  • Consult with agencies such as DSHS, court systems, housing authorities, and KIAC to maintain knowledge and presence in the treatment process.
  • Promote and model cultural responsiveness to help remove barriers to healthcare access (language, cultural traditions, health literacy, etc.).
  • Provide crisis intervention counseling and coordinate with Designated Crisis Responders/crisis services when appropriate.
  • Document client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to established policies and procedures.
  • Promote access to mental health care by outreaching to clients in various community settings or at their homes when safe and appropriate.
  • Participate in daily staff organizational meetings and treatment planning review meetings.
  • Provide information to clients on substance use issues, coordinating treatment with internal and external providers.
  • Monitor assigned clients for LRA compliance, facilitating LRA extensions and determining when revocation is appropriate.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

BILINGUAL: Spanish and English Fluency Required

EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)

This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.

LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
