As Operations Support Manager you will carry out projects among all functional areas in the proper timeline and quality. Managing the PMO, P&L, keeping up to date with all project statuses and identifying any corrections needed. The OSM will oversee all store openings nationwide and focus on accelerating growth and guarantee quality performance. You will be responsible for developing financial plans and forecast, and for supporting the P&L monthly closing process to help drive profitability in the retail and ecommerce channels. The role also has responsibilities for tracking financial and non-financial performance for all operating units, and supporting the new-unit growth program. Reporting to the COO, the Operations Support Manager will work closely with the Operations team, Finance and other functional areas of the business.
Individual will be based out of our corporate office in Doral, FL.
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Store, MFC and Dark Stores (operating units) Opening Planning 
    • Develop timelines and action plans for new stores, portfolio reviews and special projects. 
    • Lead new store project management meetings. 
    • Align communication within the organization with all departments, leadership and operational teams.  
    • Manage pre-opening budget. 
  • Store, MFC and Dark Stores (operating units) P&L Planning and Forecasting 
    • Prepare individual operating unit sales, margin and expense plans (annual) and forecasts (weekly/monthly).  
    • Partner with other functional areas to assist them in developing forecasts and plans for operating unit revenue/expenses under their management.  
    • Serve as primary internal contact for operating unit plan and forecast questions. Maintain complex planning models, incorporating changes in business practices into the model methodology as necessary. 
  • Store, MFC and Dark Store Financial Reporting  
    • Partner with controller for monthly and annual P&L closing. 
    • Assist the Ops team by preparing supporting information of the different P&L lines to support monthly P&L closing.  
  • Performance tracking   
    • Develop Scorecard with financial and non-financial KPIs for all operating units. 
    • Update financial and non-financial KPIs for weekly and monthly review. 
    • Leverage BI tool to prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial and no-financial reports related to operating units. 
  • Business Analysis 
    • Ad-hoc projects and financial analysis requests as necessary including but not limited to investigating and responding to field questions regarding specific store sales and expenses. 
  • Expansion  
    • Review financial models for every new operating-unit project presented to REC for approval. Develop financial assumptions and modeling of P&L lines.  
    • Produce performance reports for new operating units by district, market and region. 
  • Travel up to 50%. 
Qualifications:     
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with 5 years’ progressive experience.  
  • Proven analytical skills, including the understanding of general accounting principles  
  • Solid organizational skills, including strong detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities  
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels  
  • Experience with Excel, SAP and BI tools.
