MAINTENANCE LEAD 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT
Description
SUMMARY:
This position performs installation, troubleshooting and repair of Mechanical equipment inside a poultry plant.
Purpose/Scope:
This position provides direction to other mechanics and electricians.
ESSTENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance
- Complete work orders
- Able to work around raw food product
- Provide leadership to mechanics and electricians
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: (Required/Desired)
Skills & knowledge needed for the effective performance of essential job functions:
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Capable of working without direct supervision
- Able to climb, stoop, kneel, and bend
- Able to frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment
- Basic mechanical ability
- Capable of working 5 to 7 days a week
- Able to make quick and correct decisions
- Speed, consistency, and accuracy in tasks, meeting precise standards
- Interpersonal skills sufficient for working closely with others on a team
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment, performing a variety of frequently changing tasks
- Ability to perform effectively under stress in situations dangerous to self or others.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
