Aircraft Maintenance Technician
General Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician with demonstrated expertise on Hawker 900XP, Gulfstream G550, and Bombardier Challenger 3500 aircrafts. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM requirements, and JBS Aviation standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-minded, and capable of working in a fast-paced corporate aviation environment. These aircrafts are based at the Greeley/Weld County airport. As part of our high-performance Aviation Team, you’ll help ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our corporate aircraft fleet, supporting business-critical operations across North America and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aircraft Inspection Programs and Scheduled/Unscheduled maintenance on the Hawker 900xp, Gulfstream G550, and Challenger 3500 aircraft
- Support the Chief of Maintenance in maintaining all airframe and engine maintenance program records including the engine maintenance service program (MSP) and any aircraft maintenance warranty program
- Ensure all work is performed with thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and internal policies
- Accurately document maintenance actions as required
- Maintain familiarity with applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Services Bulletins (SBs), and regulatory changes
- Ability to accompany all JBS USA aircraft on maintenance performed away from the aircraft’s home maintenance base, as needed
- Assist the Chief of Maintenance with tracking maintenance expenditures including obtaining all necessary expenditure approvals from the Aviation Department Manager
- Assist with daily aircraft operations including aircraft departures and arrivals, fueling as needed, and towing aircraft
- Assist with hanger operations, aircraft detailing, and inventory management
- Balance required maintenance down time with a busy flight schedule
- Oversee hangar facility and grounds management maintenance and inspections
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Pilot, Chief of Maintenance, and flight operations staff to ensure aircraft readiness
- Champion safety-first practices and help maintain a culture of continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
- Active FAA Maintenance Inspectors Authorization preferred
- Minimum of a high school degree required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Corporate Aviation Maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of maintenance on turbine powered aircraft, preferably on Hawker, Challenger, and Gulfstream products
- Prior management experience preferred
- Must be able to respond promptly to any unscheduled home base or trip maintenance issues
- Strong working knowledge of FAA Part 91 regulations and best practices in corporate aviation
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to interpret and apply OEM technical data and engineering drawings
- Valid US Passport and willingness to support international operations
Maintenance Training: Annual maintenance training is required and will be provided by JBS USA Foods
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $90,000 - $115,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
