Location: Pilgrim’s – Canton, GA
Department: Quality Assurance
Shift: 3rd Shift
Reports To: Production Supervisors / QA Management

General Summary:
Pilgrim’s in Canton, GA is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented QA Technician to work closely with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure all regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met within production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and customer standards.
- Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload all information into MYQM.
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
- Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements.
- Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
- Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
- Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations.
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
Qualifications:
Prior to being hired into the QA Department, candidates are required to complete and pass a QA assessment. This exam evaluates basic math proficiency, calculator skills, reasoning ability, and visual acuity. Successfully passing the exam does not guarantee placement within the QA Department. All qualified candidates will participate in an interview to determine their suitability and overall compatibility with the requirements of the QA Technician role.
