FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Operations Management, Souderton, Pennsylvania

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ background experience in facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation in a food production environment.
• Communication skills
• Ability to motivate workers
• Bilingual important, but not mandatory as long as translators are in line area.
• Able to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insure the common areas of the facility is clean and sanitary including but not limited to bathrooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, hallways.
• Supervise all hourly employees in Laundry department.
• Responsible for the safety and motivation of all employees supervised.
• Insure that all laundry items are clean and sanitary, and properly distributed to production team members.
• Work with vendor to insure that all laundry items are in stock and sanitary to meet production needs.
• Insure area is properly staffed to meet production needs.
• Abel to work interdepartmentally in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintain department budget and excess hours of hourly employees.
• Understand and adhere to all union regulations in regard to hourly employees.
• Run line meetings once a month for hourly employees in responsible areas.
• Responsible for administering follow-up training on all personnel in areas of responsibility.
• Directly for ensuring all hourly employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
