The Opportunity 

FullBloom is seeking a Director of Professional Development (PD) Services to lead territory-specific PD efforts as well as play a critical role in client consultation and PD program design for projects across the country. The Director will design, develop, deliver and manage PD for K-12 non-public and public schools. The Director will own recruitment of new PD Specialists and support the onboarding process, including training and development and ongoing management to ensure exceptional quality of services.


Business Development

  • Support and drive PD sales and strategy through pre-sale client meetings and mid- and end-of-program meetings
  • Develop content for proposals, including advising on program design 
  • Participate in pipeline data tracking and provide ongoing updates on prospective and current projects

Account Management

  • Create implementation success plans for large-scale projects to best support the client/FullBloom shared goals
  • Manage post-sale implementations alongside PD Operations and PD team to ensure quality service and increase renewal and expansion opportunities
  • Deliver PD content to key clients and for large-scale development opportunities


  • Contribute to the design and development of new and existing PD offerings
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of PD for customers at regional and national conferences, and via webinar as well as internal learning opportunities for all PD teams
  • Advise internal teams regarding content/curriculum questions, customization requirements, and program launch factors

Recruiting, Onboarding, Training & Development

  • Recruit and onboard quality PD Specialists utilizing FullBloom's required recruiting processes in alignment to sales demands for National PD opportunities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of professional learning opportunities for all PD Specialists and PD Operators for both in-person and virtual delivery
  • Oversee management, utilization and deployment of National PD Specialists
  • Coordinate ongoing HR, Health and Safety, Legal, and Compliance efforts for all per diem PD Specialists and PD Independent Contractors
  • Laisse with the Manager of PD Operations to oversee and support resource management through (Timewatch)



  • Support the management and development of PD Operators by contributing to supervision and performance feedback
  • Establish strong relationships with Sales and PD Operations teams to ensure efficient and successful project execution, including regular and ongoing communication around new, existing, and prospective business
  • Collaborate within the CPDE to support nation-wide initiatives

The Qualifications 


  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the K-12 non-public and/or public education market  
  • Experience working in a business selling into the K-12 non-public and public-school market 



  • Bachelors degree, Masters Degree preferred

  • One or more other areas of expertise: Special Education, Social Emotional Learning, English Learners, STEM, Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, Literacy, or other.
