Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the complete revenue and cost of revenue process over UMP/Asset based billing for Envestnet’s Wealth Solutions segment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Documentation, maintenance and analysis of revenue agreements in accordance with ASC 606
  • Responsible for overseeing the close process associated with asset-based billing
  • Lead the month-end/quarter-end process and develop reports and metrics to review with key internal personnel
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives to further streamline revenue tasks and shorten the revenue close calendar
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME); train team members to ensure revenue recognition requirements are well understood and documentation requirements are consistently achieved
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies and desktop procedures for ongoing revenue activities
  • Responsible for review of month-end close activities including monthly reconciliation, quarterly external audit schedules, quarterly 10Q and annual 10K reporting packages for SEC filings
  • Documentation and calculation of sales compensation plans
  • Liaise with billing team to determine if potential sales agreements can be administered by Envestnet
  • Liaise with indirect tax group on potential sales contracts
  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements to provide timely and accurate financial statement flux reviews
  • Documentation and compliance with SOX/Internal Controls
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
  • Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience
  • 8+ years of Industry experience, preferably in the financial services and/or technology industries
  • The role will be required to be in the office a minimum of three days a week

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000.
