Envestnet is seeking a passionate and talented Consulting Services Specialist to join our Portfolio Management Consultants (PMC) team. This position is expected to report to either our Berwyn, PA, Denver CO, or Chicago, IL office.

The PMC Consulting Services Specialist will oversee the maintenance and optimization of workflows that are critical for the successful delivery of high net worth (HNW) solutions and services to advisors and their clients. The right individual will need to develop expertise surrounding PMC’s suite of HNW solutions, with an emphasis on the Outsource Consulting and Strategist UMA programs. The Consulting Services Specialist will also have responsibilities around investment model database maintenance, advisor database maintenance, portfolio management update communications, enterprise configuration oversight, trade risk reduction assurance, pricing risk reduction assurance, sales metric reporting and sales campaign advisor target list generation. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage investment model database and the various outputs
  • Oversee Enterprise configurations of HNW programs
  • Manage sales enablement processes
  • Help oversee trade and pricing risk reduction measures across HNW programs
  • Oversee the quarterly and annual updates of Investment Modules
  • Assist with continued HNW program technology development
  • Identify and document functionality gaps in HNW programs
  • Ensure product and development aware of HNW program requirements
  • Assist Advisors and Outsource Consulting Managers with:
    • Proposal track completion
    • Customizing investment strategy proposal
    • Importing/uploading holdings and cost basis to facilitate Pats analysis and Tax Overlay adoption
    • Facilitate custom fee schedule adjustments when needed
    • Service Request and Goal Modification support
  • Assist Outsource Consulting Managers with:
    • General Outsource Consulting questions
    • Launch support and functionality demos
    • Template portfolio updates
    • Available strategies and model updates
    • Envestnet ecosystem navigation
  • Generate quarterly performance report for Private Wealth Consulting client meetings
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field of study
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in the investment management or investment consulting industry with at least 2 years in product management experience
  • Must be an intermediate to advanced user of Excel including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables and VB Macros
  • Must have medium to high knowledge of Salesforce
  • Commitment to provide positive internal client experience and reinforce the firm’s image as a sophisticated investment solutions provider
  • Possess ability to position and manage a diverse set of investment solutions
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Effective and concise communicator, both verbal and written
  • Possess ability to prioritize and maintain multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to enroll in a CFA or MBA program is strongly encouraged
  • Series 7, 63, and 65 preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Envestnet and its platform offerings is preferred
  • Knowledge of investment product data will be valued

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,000 to $118,000.
