Job Summary:  

MoneyGuide, Inc. is the developer of MoneyGuidePro financial planning software. As an industry leader in innovation, we believe in providing advisors software that is smart, easy and adaptable to create friendly and meaningful goal-based financial plans for their clients. MoneyGuidePro is used by thousands of financial service professionals from small-size planning firms to large financial institutions.  We are seeking a motivated individual who will be required to gain a deep understanding of MoneyGuidePro. In addition to having a mastery of current functionality, the employee will be part of the team that works with our enterprise-level clients to design, implement, and manage integration solutions that meet their business needs. In addition to enterprise-level clients, this team works with third party partners to integrate their products that provide value to our users 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Become an SME on existing integration implementations to assist internal teams.
  • Manage escalated integration issues from the Support Team, third party partners, as well as enterprise-clients. This involves:
    • Gathering necessary information for troubleshooting.
    • Prioritizing outstanding issues to begin the resolution process quickly and efficiently.
    • Tracking of outstanding issues.
    • Working with other departments to determine potential resolutions.
    • Working with the development team to implement resolutions.
    • Working with the QA team to validate the resolution implemented meets expectations, in addition to validating new bugs are not introduced.
    • Communicating and coordinating resolved issues to appropriate stakeholders so production releases can be scheduled.
  • Manage software enhancement, maintenance, and bug resolution projects.
  • Maintain integration documentation for internal and external uses.
  • Debug and escalate software issues to front- and back-end development teams.
  • Query databases and develop reports on application usage and issues.
  • Work directly with our development team to design and test new products/features.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk
 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (degree in in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM related fields strongly preferred).
  • Experience, interest, and aptitude in technology, specifically software development.
  • Experience coordinating software development between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the financial services/financial planning industry and/or software development cycle.
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Must be willing and able to handle the pressures of our fast-paced software development cycle.
 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Intermediate knowledge of Visual Studio and the C# programming language.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Atlassian Products such as Jira, Confluence, Sourcetree, and Bitbucket

Salary: 

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,000 to $96,000.
