Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • HR Leadership: Serve as primary contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide HR support.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job details, and performance data, in HR databases. This includes preparing and processing HR documents, including employment offer letters, and termination paperwork. 
  • Benefits: Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees. Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and assist in resolving any issues. 
  • Employee Engagement: Partner with site leadership to create and implement engagement strategies designed to maintain a positive, engaged working environment.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support for supervisors and managers regarding discipline/corrective actions to ensure they are conducted consistently and according to policy. Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations and conducting investigation.
  • Policies & Procedures: Administer HR policies and programs for designated sites; ensure compliance of state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws.
  • Recruiting: Post job openings on various job boards and company websites. Screen resumes and coordinate the interview process, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates. Define pre-boarding and on-boarding programs to build excitement and prepare employees for success.  
  • Metrics & Measurements: Analyze data regarding key HR metrics and provide recommendations based on results.
  • Support a Culture of Continuous Improvement in Safety: Accountable and responsible for safety performance success and violations within their area. Responsible for leave of absence and medical management including early return to work programs and reporting work related injuries to third-party insurance carriers along with EHS Manager. 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field with 3-5 years’ experience working in human resources.
  • Must have manufacturing experience.
  • PHR, SPHR or SHRM certification preferred.
