Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Performs preventative maintenance (PM’S) duties as prescribed by the CMMS such as greasing plant equipment, changing oil, cleaning filters, as well as general equipment maintenance.
- Understanding / using CMMS to catalogue work completed.
- Communicate with shift leaders and production employees to understand daily needs.
- Understands all Maintenance checklists and can fill them out in their entirety.
- Cleans/organizes/maintains parts inventory and accuracy within the CMMS.
- Repairs/replaces defective parts during PM’s.

Required Education & Skillsets:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience
- Ability to be adaptable and change work direction on short notice to accommodate business needs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to effectively communicate through use of email and verbal communication.
- Ability to operate drills, grinders, and other maintenance shop tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel, if necessary, between plants or to obtain parts.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to switch shifts if necessary.
