Description

Responsibilities:

•    Optimize work centers by moving staff and ensuring materials available for scheduled areas.
•    Updates information on the cell board as directed by the supervisor and may lead the cell board meeting.
•    Reviews and ensure short interval control sheets are available and completed hourly.
•    Responsible for task training new employees when needed.
•    Performs inspection on products during the manufacturing process, as directed by supervisor.
•    Monitors product labelling and inserts if applicable.
•    Works with manufacturing staff on quality and production related issues.
•    Performs inspection and approval of materials if applicable.
•    Performs inventory transactions as directed.
•    Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
•    Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency.
•    Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
•    Support, comply and ensure complicity with Health & Safety regulations, company policies and procedures.
•    Arrives at work on time and complies with company attendance and tardiness policies.
•    Possesses ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.
•    Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Skills/Experience:

•    Must have 1+ years of experience leading and assisting small group activities in a manufacturing environment.
•    Exercise considerable initiative/judgement in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements.
•    Must have strong PC skills and experience with SAP, MII, label software, Microsoft Office.
•    Must be able to use measurement devices such as calipers and rulers
