Position Title: Quality Manager
Location: Neenah, WI
Description:
The Quality Manager is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for implementing and improving quality control strategies to reduce risk, increase customer satisfaction and business profitability. This role reports to the Regional Mill Manager and will have responsibility for the Neenah Mill and Neenah Converting Center.
responsibilities:
- Promotes and supports a Zero Incident Safety and Quality culture across the site.
- Ensures new products have robust quality testing and control procedures, with demonstrated capability to consistently meet internal and Customer specifications.
- Provides training support on key quality management/assessment tools, procedures, methods and specifications.
- Works independently and as a part of a cross-functional team (i.e. R&D, Industrial, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Customers) to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Supports Customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of effective corrective actions, including application of statistical methods and trending of complaints.
- Supports product, process and system changes, utilizing project management and risk-based tools such as pFMEAs, Hazard Analyses, Control Plans, and Risk Management Plans/Reports.
- Provides quality engineering support for cross-functional product/process continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma waste reduction projects.
- Provides support in the evaluation and management of internal and external supplier quality.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
- PC literate with good communications skills, both verbal and written
- Familiar with problem solving and statistical analysis skills using a variety of quality engineering tools such as fish-bone, pareto charts, C&E matrix, hypothesis testing, control charting, DOE, sampling methods, and process capability
- Strong attention to detail in document/report technical writing.
- Ability to effectively present information to Team Members with an emphasis on training.
- Lean/Six Sigma certification
- ASQ certification
- 3-5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- ISO 9001:2015 exposure
- Experience with Quality and Operations software, such as Oracle, SAP, LN, Minitab, AssurX, QiSoft, Braincube, and dataPARC
