Role Description: Oversees the daily operations of the Stylists Team with a strong emphasis on cost control and optimization, efficient inventory management, strict adherence to established procedures, and comprehensive administrative and people management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Stock Control and Procedure Compliance: Oversees stock management, ensuring that inventory is accurately controlled and that all processes adhere strictly to established procedures.
- Daily Team Operations: Manages and reports on the daily activities of the team, including monitoring attendance, scheduling, and holiday planning, while ensuring smooth operations.
- Disciplinary and Training Management: Handles documentation related to disciplinary actions and is responsible for training and onboarding new team members to maintain high performance standards.
- Procedure Evaluation and Development: Regularly evaluates compliance with existing procedures, drafts new procedures for approval, and proposes improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Also ensures that all procedures remain up-to-date.
- Workshop and Event Coordination: Organizes and participates in Appearance workshops and contributes to the planning and execution of special events.
- Inventory Replenishment and Analysis: Ensures timely re-stocking and efficient inventory management. Analyzes stock movements to identify trends, patterns, and potential red flags, supporting proactive decision-making.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Conducts research and testing projects aimed at improving the consistency of dealers' on-camera appearance, ensuring a high-quality visual presentation.
- Reporting: Periodically compiles and presents comprehensive reports on team activities, stock movements, and purchases, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Documentation Maintenance and Enhancement: Continuously maintain and improve all documents related to standardization requirements, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry best practices.
- Customer Experience Optimization: Proactively enhance the customer experience process with GPs/GSHs, streamlining interactions and consistently elevating service quality.
- Continuous Improvement & Project Coordination: Identifies innovative approaches to enhance both the quality and productivity of team members' work and coordinates new projects to drive operational excellence.
- Adherence to Company Standards: Read, understand, and comply with the company’s standards. Utilize company technology appropriately and effectively. Notify management immediately in the event of any misconduct or misbehavior.
- Active Contribution to Company Development: Propose measures to improve appearance quality and customer experience. Suggest procedural enhancements aimed at increasing overall operational efficiency.
- Work Discipline and Professional Responsibility: Commit to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. Maintain the confidentiality of all information related to company equipment and operations. Use company resources exclusively for business purposes. Comply with all legislative requirements and established working procedures. Collaborate with designated health and safety personnel as needed to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses. Promptly inform line managers of any deficiencies or incidents observed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Professional certificate: Must hold a diploma or professional certification in hairstyling/make-up or a related artistic industry.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, excellent written and verbal communication.
- Technical Skills: PC literate with the ability to manage scheduling and communication effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage diverse personalities and cultures.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional presentation, communication and self-discipline skills to maintain a high standard of appearance and interact positively with employees and address any issues efficiently.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of stock management experience and minimum 1 year in managing teams or performing in coordination roles.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with suppliers.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Makeup and Hairdressing for Broadcast: Familiarity with makeup and hairstyling techniques specifically for on-camera or broadcast settings.
- Knowledge of Skincare Products: Understanding of skincare products and techniques that can enhance the overall appearance and comfort of individuals during their shifts.
