Purpose of the Role:
The Uniforms Supervisor ensures the smooth, efficient, and professional management of all uniform-related operations within the Appearance Department. This includes supervising daily team activity, overseeing inventory and stock processes, coordinating with Procurement and other internal partners, and maintaining the highest standards of service for internal customers. The role also drives continuous process improvement, ensures compliance with departmental procedures, and supports Team Leaders through training, performance feedback, and operational support.
What you would be doing:
- Stock and Equipment Management: Oversee the inventory and ensure regular restocking and efficient tracking of stock usage and needs. Manage order files and ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of any equipment.
- Quality Assurance of Incoming Orders: Inspect all incoming items to make sure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Record any issues in a quality report and share the findings with senior management to support decisions and evaluate suppliers.
- Scheduling and Attendance: Coordinate the monthly schedule for the Uniform team, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate staffing to cover all shifts and requirements.
- Documentation and Process Improvement: Handle all aspects of documenting and verifying team activities, including implementing improvements to make these processes more efficient. Ensure all procedural documentation is up to date and reflective of current practices.
- Employee Engagement and Experience: Create a supportive and professional environment for the team, maintaining high standards of conduct and communication Time Management:
- Time Management: Prioritize and organize daily tasks effectively to ensure smooth operational flow. Manage deadlines, balance competing demands, and support the team in maintaining efficient work habits and timely completion of responsibilities.
What makes you a strong candidate:
- At least 9 months of relevant experience in uniforms management, inventory coordination, retail operations, or a similar logistics/administrative environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to coordinate daily workflows and support smooth team operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling professional collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Good understanding of uniform or inventory-related policies and procedures, with the ability to quickly learn and apply company standards.
- Experience working with inventory management systems (e.g., Odoo or similar inventory platforms).
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Solid computer literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare clear reports, and provide recommendations to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated leadership potential or previous supervisory experience in a similar operational, retail, logistics, or service environment. (nice to have)
- Good understanding of uniform standards, appearance policies, or related operational guidelines (nice to have)
- Proven record of strong performance and reliability in previous roles, with consistent achievement of job expectations. (nice to have)
- High level of initiative, with a proactive mindset toward problem-solving, process optimization, and improving team workflows. (nice to have)
- Strong professional conduct and work ethic, demonstrating accountability, dependability, and positive team behavior. (nice to have)
- Experience training others, onboarding new team members, or contributing to staff development activities. (nice to have)
