The role:
• Align with the Slots and Live Casino teams on required tags and categories based on game mechanics, actively playing and understanding the games to ensure accurate, player-driven categorisation.
• Define metadata, tags, and categories based on player intent and browsing behaviour, in addition to internal classifications.
• Define and document clear standards for how games and content should be tagged and presented within the lobby.
• Own and maintain the content tag map, including ongoing updates and governance.
• Support Data and Product teams on the logic used for content presentation and search.
• Take ownership of game and content metadata, including:
• Tagging of all games and content
• Defining and maintaining category and subcategory structures
• Setting and maintaining rules for regional profiles
• Regularly audit metadata and lobby outputs to prevent inconsistencies, errors, or outdated logic
• Act as owner and escalation point for lobby categorization, metadata, and tagging questions.
• Implement and document clear processes for tagging, updating, and monitoring content metadata.
• Partner with Slots, Live Casino, Product and Data teams to ensure:
• New games and content are correctly tagged and surfaced at launch
• Changes to lobby logic or structures are accurately implemented
• Ensure that lobby categories, filters, and searches feel intuitive to players and require minimal explanation or manual correction.
• Proactively suggest improvements to lobby structure, tag mapping, and operational workflows.
• You must have experience working with casino content, game catalogues, or lobby setups.
• Strong understanding of casino content (both slots and live casino) and how players browse and search for them.
• Hands-on experience with metadata, tagging, categorization or some type of content management
• You will have some experience in iGaming
• You can clearly set up, communicate, and present your ideas using tools like the Office Suite.
• Ideally you will have tested and/or play tested games and other digital products.
• Ideally you will have some technical background or knowledge.
You should:
• Love using digital products and playtesting things. We need someone who is going to play with the lobby and ecosystem every single day with the mindset of a player and really scrutinise every detail with the goal of improving everything.
• Be exceptionally well-organised. There are going to be a lot of moving parts to this role so you must bring method and structure to your approach.
• Be extremely analytical.
• Be obsessed with details and optimisations. Creating amazing player experiences means scrutinising every detail to ensure that you’re constantly delivering the best possible solution. In a such a highly competitive industry, small details can make a big difference.
• Discuss constructively and diplomatically. Having many different stakeholders and views means that we won’t always agree on the way forward – but we need to focus on collaborating solutions that deliver optimal outcomes for our customers.
• Be open and flexible. There are many ways to interpret datasets and different approaches you can take for an optimal outcome. You need to be ready to adjust your views on the fly, all in service of an outstanding player experience.
