To support our continuous growth worldwide, we need motivated and responsible Field System Administrator to join our team.
About the role:
We are seeking a Field System Administrator to help operate and maintain our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining system stability, and ensuring high availability of critical services.
What you would be doing:
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Manage and support Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
- Monitor systems and manage alerts and dashboards using Zabbix and Grafana
- Investigate and resolve performance and availability issues across servers and services
- Provide user and desktop support, including operating system and application issues
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues at both server and end-user levels
- Perform system maintenance tasks according to established procedures
- Work closely with senior field administrators and other IT teams to resolve issues
- Assist with documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base updates
What makes you a strong candidate:
- Proven experience in a System Administrator or IT Support role (mid-level/L2)
- Fluent in English and Bulgarian language
- Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) server administration
- Experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging tools, preferably Zabbix and/or Grafana, Elastic, Filebeat, Syslog
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware and desktop environments
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and escalate when needed
- Good communication skills and user-oriented mindset
Nice to Have:
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell) is a plus
- Experience working with virtualized environments is a plus
- Familiarity with IT documentation and ticketing systems (JIRA) is a plus
