Manchester Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Lead Client Service Representative to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About You
As a Lead Client Service Representative, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. A Lead CSR serves as a work leader to schedule, monitor, and facilitate optimal Front Office workflow, while providing exceptional client service with a focus on communication and efficiency. The Lead CSR works closely with other members of Leadership for overall clinic health, training and growth.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of general veterinary office practices and procedures, CSR duties and telephone techniques
- Clinical experience as a veterinary CSR Required
- Leadership background strongly preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Role Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Directs CSRs in their performance of a variety of clerical and public-contact duties
- Delegates duties to each employee to ensure that daily tasks are accomplished
- Recognizes non-routine or unusual situations and refers them to the Practice Manager or Medical Director, along with recommended solutions.
- Assists the Medical Director and Practice Manager in developing programs to improve the morale of the CSR team
- Meets regularly with the Practice Manager and Medical Director to discuss CSR staff performance, hospital goals, milestones and potholes.
- Oversees the screening and assembly of veterinary records and files, ensuring they are properly entered into the PMS
- Directs on-the-job training to develop CSR's skills
- Explains the nature and basis for hospital personnel policies and procedures to the CSR team and clients as necessary
- Serves as liaison between CSR team and management
- Monitors reception staff hours and obtains overtime approval from Practice Manager
- Assists with emergency scheduling as needed.
- Accounting
- Performs and oversees the posting of daily transactions and hospital invoices, including mailing statements
- Assists Practice Manager to collect on past-due accounts
- Assists the Practice Manager in making bank deposits, watching daily increases in accounts receivable, and performing other duties as assigned
- Manages accounts receivable, notifying Practice Manager when an account hasn't been paid in 30 days

Manchester Veterinary Clinic is a general practice located in Manchester, CT focusing on primary care for cats and dogs. Our hospital has a lively work environment and a loyal client base.
We are open Monday - Thursday, 8:30am to 6pm and Friday from 8:30am to 5pm
Serving Manchester, East Hartford, Bolton, Coventry and South Windsor
