Sales Leader - Nutanix Database Service DACH
- Segment the regional market and ensure effective coverage across enterprise, regulated industries, and public sector customers
- Own the end-to-end success of the NDB business, including strategy, pipeline development, execution, and revenue performance
- Drive database platform displacement opportunities, including legacy and incumbent technologies
- Position database automation as a strategic enabler for security, compliance, operational efficiency, and data sovereignty
- Lead customer discussions on regulatory requirements and sovereignty considerations
- Build and execute pipeline through coordinated field, channel, and marketing activation
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and Nutanix field teams throughout the sales cycle
- Design and plan NDB solution adoption by leveraging product experts, solution architects, and Nutanix Services
- Lead TCO, ROI, licensing, and business-case discussions for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB workloads
- Own revenue targets for Nutanix NDB and drive consistent quarter-over-quarter growth
- Provide structured feedback to product management, marketing, and engineering to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy
- Represent Nutanix NDB in industry events and internal Nutanix communities as a database thought leader
- Proven experience selling database platforms, DBaaS, or complex enterprise software solutions
- Established executive-level relationships within local enterprise and regulated accounts (e.g., financial services, public sector, large enterprises)
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale a business using top-down executive engagement and bottom-up technical adoption
- Track record of growing early-stage opportunities into sustainable, high-performing revenue streams
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar databases in virtualized and/or public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Comfort operating in high-ownership, low-process environments with significant autonomy
- Willingness to travel up to 40–50%
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to engage meaningfully with customers.
