The Opportunity
Building monitoring,observability and automation software  that leverages the power of. ML , analytics and large scale data data-platform services. . We are currently looking for experienced self motivated software engineers with expertise and passion in solving challenging problems in distributed systems and virtualized infrastructure.
 
About the Team
At Nutanix, you will be joining the NCM team, a dynamic and innovative group that thrives on collaboration and creativity. With team members located in both India and the US, the NCM team embodies a diverse culture that emphasizes new ideas and problem-solving, creating an environment where everyone’s contributions are valued and encouraged. The work setup is hybrid, requiring you to come into the office 3 days a week, which allows for flexibility while still promoting in-person collaboration.
 
Your Role
  • Building monitoring,observability and automation software  that leverages the power of ML , analytics, cloud native paradigms  and large scale data data-platform services
  • Build and optimize distributed systems that can scale for large volumes of data.
  • Architect, design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant services on-prem or cloud
  • Improve performance and scalability of various components in the system stack
  • Ability to lead a small team of UI and backend engineers to design, build and deliver software services, features and applications
 
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • 5-8  years of experience designing and developing large scale software applications.
  • Strong coding experience in  Python, Golang, Java
  • Strong understanding of data structure and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and containerization, kubernetes and cloud native technologies
  • Strong understanding of datacenter design including compute, storage, and networking and familiarity with on prem, cloud and hybrid software deployment architectures
  • Good experience in designing and tuning high-performance system software
  • Experience in working with large codebases or contribution to open source is a strong plus.
  • Experience in building full stack multi-tenant services on a virtualized infrastructure is a very strong plus.
 
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
