Are you a highly skilled virtualization Architect and Consultant, passionate about cloud automation?  You have competencies in infrastructure and network virtualization, a good understanding of business-critical and cloud-native applications, and data center operations.

You will work in the Services organization to help clients establish architectural vision and direction. You will help clients design, deploy, and migrate complex applications as well as work with software developers, consultants, and engineers to create scalable and repeatable solutions for partners.  
 
About the team
The Nutanix Professional Services team delivers a strong influence on the success of each Nutanix implementation by its customers. The Services function ensures success by engaging with customers in the pre-sales and post-sales stages by assisting in their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. The Nutanix Professional Services Consulting function includes assessment, design, implementation, integration, and automation services as well as project management.  
 
Your Role
  • Lead workshops and consulting engagements with customers.
  • Conduct customized Nutanix consulting solutions.
  • Own the business outcomes of virtualization & automation projects.
  • Orchestrate and implement detailed design documents hands-on.
  • Collaborate closely with our project managers to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Provide your expertise during the pre-sales stage to ensure accurate effort estimations.
  • Nurture fruitful customer relationships and identify future service opportunities.
  • Actively drive practice activities such as developing standard methodologies, capturing and creating intellectual property, quality assurance, and peer reviews.

 

What You Will Bring
  • Experience designing complex data center solutions with multi-site cloud architectures.
  • A solid understanding of Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) concepts and implementations.
  • Excellent communication skills and expertise in developing advanced architectural solutions design documentation.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills as a technical expert.
  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV or other industry-leading virtualization products (e.g., vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, SRM) within large-scale IT production data centers.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing data center infrastructure virtualization projects, including compute, network, and storage.
  • Knowledge of modern software development methodologies such as DevOps, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean.
  • Industry certifications for Datacenter and Networking (e.g., LPIC, MSCA, CCNA, and equivalent).
  • Nutanix NCP/NCS or VMware VCAP certifications are highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

 

Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
