About the Team
You will be joining the Advisory Sales team at Nutanix, located in Boston, MA. This team is dedicated to driving growth and delivering outstanding customer experiences by providing tailored solutions that meet the diverse needs of our enterprise clients. You will report to the Director of Sales, who is known for a supportive and empowering leadership style that inspires collaboration and fosters professional growth. The team operates in a remote work setup, allowing for flexibility, with occasional requirements to come into the office for team meetings or strategic planning sessions as needed.
This role requires approximately 30% travel, as you will be expected to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with the sales team across various locations. The travel will primarily focus on client engagement and fostering relationships to drive sales success.
Your Role
- Develop and execute strategies to drive enterprise account growth and customer retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on client needs and service delivery.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts while adhering to company policies and pricing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning and positioning.
- Establish performance metrics and track progress to ensure team and individual goals are met.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring
- Proven track record in enterprise sales and account management.
- Strong understanding of advisory services and enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 300,000 and USD $ 375,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
