If so, joining our in-house multimedia communications and video marketing team at Nutanix will give you the unique opportunity to produce high-visibility content, collaborate on exciting projects like our new podcast, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive, innovative environment that values your creative voice.

 

About the Team

As a member of the  Video Marketing Team within the multimedia and newsroom division, you will work alongside videographers, editors, and motion graphics artists and assist with in-house production and "storytelling" projects ranging from podcasts, videos, and motion graphics to written content. In this fast-paced environment that operates "under tight deadlines," you will work onsite at the HQ  studio to gain hands-on experience operating video equipment, editing rough cuts, and ideating original story concepts for the Nutanix Newsroom websites as well as external platforms. You will thrive under an open, collaborative management style that fosters a safe space for transparent communication. You will also assist with uploading videos to various platforms and posting to the company website, utilizing enterprise tools like "Adobe Experience Manager" to manage content for a global audience.

 

Your Role

  • Support onsite studio operations by operating camera and audio equipment to facilitate video production.
  • Produce rough cuts of video content and assist with motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
  • Manage content activation and distribution through Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and external channels like YouTube.
  • Contribute to editorial strategy by brainstorming and pitching new story concepts across various multimedia formats.
  • Integrate quickly into studio operations, ensuring preparedness to handle filming and production demands within the first 30 days.
  • Take ownership of content posting and distribution workflows within the first 60 days to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Assist with the launch of new multimedia projects, including a video podcast, to diversify the newsroom's content offerings.
  • Collaborate with team members in a transparent environment to promote open communication and reach consensus on creative direction.

 

What You Will Bring

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as an F1, H1B, or TN visa.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Communications, Film Production, or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere for video editing and motion graphics.
  • Strong knowledge of studio operations, including camera, audio, and background setup.
  • Experience with content management systems, particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Creative storytelling abilities with a knack for developing multimedia content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented culture.
  • Familiarity with video production best practices and post-production workflows.

 

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e., San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $30 and USD $30 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
