Assoc. Staff Analyst (TWU - OA-REP): $90,511- $117,195
Assoc. Staff Analyst (TA): $83,098 - $107,591 (New Hire Rate: $72,258)

Responsibilities
MTA New York City Transit Paratransit (Access-A-Ride) is a federally mandated service, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, providing origin-to-destination, demand-response, shared ride transportation for individuals with disabilities that cannot use fixed route public buses and subways. The incumbents will be assigned to the Department of Paratransit unit listed below.
Finance and Administration
The selected candidate must be able to:
- Document processes, data definitions, and methodologies to ensure clarity and repeatability
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions
- Develop, track, and report KPI metrics to measure business performance
- Write efficient, well documented code to combine, clean, and transform datasets to meet business needs and project requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data pipeline optimization
- Design and maintain operational reports to support processes such as monthly accruals and expense tracking
- Apply quality control checks to all data outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability for the end users
Desired Skills
- Experience using machine learning to forecast travel demand, analyze booking patterns, and optimize operational planning
- Proficient in Python, R, SAS, and SQL for data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and modeling
- Present findings in meetings, workshops, or written reports
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to utilize databases (PAIRS, ADEPT, Power BI, Tableau) and develop analytical reports that provide insights to the business units
- Familiarity with Paratransit operations
