We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such as plexi-glass or plastic barriers between team member work stations. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility, and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.

Requirements for the position

  • 4 year degree in applicable field or qualifying field experience in live production
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power point
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time while in the program
  • Willingness to accept open positions regardless of location unless other arrangements are specified at the time of program entry.
  • Ability to take on difficult task and learn from them
  • Ability to work with the Live Production and Tech Services Team on a daily basis

Primary Job Responsibilities and KPI’s:

  • Complete 4 week rotation in a Jamesway hatchery
  • Complete 4 week rotation in a Chickmaster hatchery
  • Complete one week rotation in a complex with single stage incubation
  • Complete Jamesway incubator training
  • Complete Chickmaster incubator training
  • Complete 2 week rotation with 4 industry leaders in hatchery tech services
  • Complete 2 week rotation with a veterinarian concentrating on break outs and sanitation
  • Complete 2 week rotation in breeders
  • Complete 2 embryology seminars
  • Complete Aviagen hatchery manager training
  • Complete Cobb hatchery manager training
  • Complete approved sanitation training
