Shipping Coordinator-Imports
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Lead Shipping Coordinator role with our Imports team in Greeley, CO.  Our ideal candidate needs to be comfortable working independently and within a team, be able to handle change, and operate within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • This role is responsible for overseeing imported containers from the receipt of documents from origin through entry into the system and invoice set up.
  • This role will interface directly with customs brokers, 3rd party vendors (product vendors, shipping lines and domestic warehouses), sales staff, customers, and with internal support groups such as accounts payable, inventory control, logistics, etc.
  • Employee maintains the ability to perform efficiently and follow through on all details, in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.
  • Qualified candidate must be self-motivated and willing to stay focused under stressful/time sensitive situations; must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Primarily data entry driven, must be able to handle repetitive tasks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Communication with sales and warehouses regarding inventory arrivals
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:  
  • Prior Experience in a coordinator role preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish or English / Portuguese is a plus
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Any prior experience showing significant personal accountability, attention to detail, organization or individual problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude while multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $21.00-23.00/hr
