The Security Manager is crucial in safeguarding both personnel and company assets through expert threat analysis and strategic security implementation. Responsibilities include evaluating potential threats, crafting detailed security strategies, and continuously updating security policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and coordinate security measures for company personnel and assets, reporting to the Head of Security, Safety, and Facility.
- Manage security operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Direct the security team’s actions and manage communication with employees during emergencies (fire, flood, earthquake, etc.).
- Supervise the onboarding process for new security team members.
- Lead training sessions for the security team and work with external providers on training initiatives.
- Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with external providers for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of security systems, ensuring continuous operation.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with security regulations and procedures among employees.
- Analyze past security incidents to develop preventive strategies and improve response plans.
- Maintain confidentiality of all professional data, never disclosing information obtained in your role to external parties.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in army, military, police or national security background
- At least five years of experience in a security management role.
- Proficiency in English.
- Advanced knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response planning.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting security technology and systems.
- Experience working with law enforcement and external security providers.
