ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a responsible, technically skilled, and motivated Lightning Specialist with a passion for lighting in audiovisual, film, and television environments. The selected candidate will join the lighting department and support the setup, operation, and maintenance of professional lighting systems in studio and on-location productions, under the supervision of the Head of Lighting.
 
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Install, organize, and set up lighting equipment on set according to plans or instructions from the department lead.
  • Assemble and position gear such as Fresnels, LED panels, fluorescent tubes, HMIs, ballasts, dimmers, modifiers, and support systems.
  • Manage and maintain lighting cables and DMX connections: labeling, coiling, and ensuring good condition.
  • Assist in focusing and adjusting lighting setups during rehearsals and recordings.
  • Help diagnose and solve basic technical faults.
  • Support the inventory, maintenance, and organization of lighting equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and clear communication procedures on set.
 
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
  • Basic or intermediate knowledge of professional lighting systems for film, TV, or events.
  • Experience assembling and disassembling technical equipment (academic or professional experience accepted).
  • Ability to work as part of a team, follow technical instructions, and handle high-pressure environments.
  • Physical capacity to lift, move, and handle equipment.
  • Intermediate English level (must understand technical instructions and communicate with international teams).
  • Availability to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Desirable: basic knowledge of electricity, DMX signal control, light metering, or cinematography concepts.
  • Technical or technological training in audiovisuals, electricity, electronics, or related fields.
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong sense of responsibility.
