This role is with the ARRISE group powering Pragmatic Play.
Role:Pragmatic Play is looking for a hands-on cyber security leader to join its growing team as a Head of Information Security (Studio).
Head of Information Security will work with developers, system administrators and other technical teams to promote security best practices and implement our security strategy.
The role's purpose will be incorporating security requirements in solution design, communicating them to implementation teams and following up to ensure the requirements are in place as designed and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate the adoption of security design patterns with stakeholders to ensure efficient security measures are integrated into solutions;
- Define security requirements and onboard them into the design of various projects and initiatives;
- Effectively communicate and articulate security requirements to multiple technical teams, fostering a strong security-oriented culture;
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of security requirements, ensuring adherence to established security standards and best practices;
- Take a hands-on approach to design and implement security solutions that align with the organization's cybersecurity strategy;
- Act as a cyber security strategy ambassador, contributing valuable insights and ideas to enhance the overall security posture;
- Ensure that security monitoring mechanisms are adequately integrated into the design phase of projects to proactively identify and address potential threats;
- Evaluate the suitability of new solutions by assessing their alignment with existing security controls, including access reviews, event logging, and other security roadmap initiatives;
- Proactively promote improvements to existing solutions, enabling them to meet and surpass established security goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, for clear and effective communication across the organization;
- Strong presentation skills to confidently present complex security concepts to technical audience.
- Possess a broad awareness across different IT domains and security technologies.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and the ability to ensure security practices align with relevant regulations and standards;
- Awareness of ISO 27001 and the ability to leverage its principles to enhance security practices;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders;
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities to advocate for key strategic points related to information security;
- Confident in working with Linux environments and demonstrating expertise in AWS, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and Zero Trust approach.
