This role is with the ARRISE group powering Pragmatic Play.

Professional skills Responsibilities:

• Go through the software requirements and get clarifications on one’s doubts;

• Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it;

• Generate test cases based on the requirements and other documents;

• Procure or create test data required for testing;

• Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated);

• Report test results;

• Update test cases based on the discovered defects;

• Support the team with testing tasks as required;

• Keep himself/herself up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain.

Skills Required:

• Working as Quality Assurance Engineer 1+;

• Strong knowledge of fundamentals (Test design techniques, test cases, bug reports etc.)

• Good experience in Manual Testing of Web applications;

• Advanced skills in requirements analysis;

• Ability to priorities test cases based on risk analysis;

• Knowledge and practical experience working with databases (SQL, mySQL);

• Understanding of client-server architecture (REST API);

• Understanding and experience in software development life cycle;

• Skills in reading and analyzing logs to figure out root cause of a defect, experience with search dashboard tool like Kibana, Grafana for example;

• Intermediate English level;

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins;

• Strong communication skills.

Desirable:

• Gaming applications expertise will be a plus;

• Integration testing using SOAP UI or Postman will be a plus;

• Experience with a web proxy will be a plus (Fiddler, Charles);

• Automation testing knowledge and experience will be a plus (Selenium, Python);

• Basic knowledge of HTTP, HTML, CSS, JSON and WebSockets.
