About the Team
The Field Marketing Manager will be part of the EMEA Marketing team at Nutanix, located in Stockholm, Sweden. This team operates in a collaborative and open culture, emphasizing teamwork and communication. The mission of the EMEA Marketing team is to align marketing strategies with the sales goals in the region while effectively engaging with key stakeholders. Team members work closely together, sharing ideas and providing support to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives across the region.
You will report to the Marketing Director, EMEA NEEUR, who fosters a leadership style characterized by collaboration, open communication, and encouragement of creative ideas. The work setup for this role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in choosing when to be in the office. While team members are not required to attend the office daily, they are expected to go into the office as needed, depending on their schedules and project requirements.
 
This role requires significant travel around the Nordics and sometimes within Northern and Eastern European countries, with an estimated travel percentage of anywhere up to 50% during the peak season. During high activity seasons, especially around events, travel may occur almost every week or biweekly, whereas during low seasons, the frequency of travel will decrease.
 
Your Role
  • Manage and execute field marketing activities across the region mainly focused on Nordics but not limited to this region, to drive lead generation and demand on target accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leaders and account executives to align marketing strategies with sales goals and priorities and get their buy-in on projects.
  • Be energetic and motivated to bring new ideas to the table to improve Nutanix go-to-market and drive up conversion rates for campaigns overall.
  • Campaign management: focus on net new prospect accounts and work with sales on finding the right campaigns to reach that audience for them.
  • Create Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through campaigns and manage lead follow up and flow with Sales Development Reps (SDRs), Inside Account Executives (IAEs) and Account Managers. Make sure to track via SalesForce and manage conversion based on opportunity creation quantity and value of opportunity in annual contract value (ACV).
  • Amplify the Nutanix visibility and increase our volume of mentions in business media developing the NEEUR social media channels.
  • Use the customer references as a strong message to go-to-market via digital campaigns or other campaigns.
  • Drive webinars, bootcamps, events, direct mails etc. in region to create a recurring agenda of activities and down the funnel conversion.
  • Track, measure and report back to the business on key performance indicators and overall effectiveness of activities. Goals will be shared by Regional Marketing Director based on EMEA targets.
  • Oversee budget management for marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with overall strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for market engagement and assess the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Establish clear first-year objectives, including measurable KPIs related to lead generation, event success, and collaboration with sales teams.

 

What You Will Bring
  • Minimum six years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on B2B marketing.

  • Strong project management skills, including comprehensive campaign management from inception to execution.
  • Proficient in collaborating closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability among stakeholders for project outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of marketing funnels and experience with lead generation and conversion.
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to assess the necessity of requests.
  • Excellent marketing planning and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to consistently prioritize and manage multiple tasks from concept through implementation, and deliver quality outcomes on time and on budget.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset (Swedish and English language are a must).

 

Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
