We are looking for a strong leader for one of our engineering teams within the Platform Product domain which is the heart of our product - platform Rhino. The key responsibilities of an Engineering Manager are categorized into two areas: Product delivery and Team health & happiness.





        Product knowledge: You are an expert in the product the team is building. This means you can be consulted about the product and provide a detailed answer.

        Technical knowledge: You are an active contributor to shaping the solution, drawing the solution design, mapping requirements and you can also QA the solution e.g. with the common tooling carried out and create tests that verify the quality. You monitor your product and environments and are able with the common tooling to troubleshoot the services.

        Driving business: You know which business KPIs are relevant for your team and with your team how to break them down. Building a roadmap and being accountable for the same.

        Driving the team (up to 10 Backend Engineers): Setting goals, monitoring KPIs and team as well as individual growth. You drive and can balance which agile development approach, SCRUM, Kanban. You are responsible for the annual HR processes including recruiting and retaining talent.


        3+ years’ experience in leading development teams

        Software development background (you should be able to do a code review in Java/Kotlin)

        Balances short-term needs against long-term stability.

        Confident communicator. Able to advocate for the team and describe key projects to other teams or areas of the company.

        Recognizes individual - and team successes.

        Confident in working directly with developers in the team and being able to explain the reasons why particular features/tasks are important to complete and the impacts of not doing them.

        Build trust with the team by being available, approachable, and open to feedback.
