ABOUT THE ROLE
Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer and play a crucial role in driving our organisation's growth through the development of outstanding products. We’re seeking a dynamic individual who can deliver state-of-the-art code while prioritizing performance and scalability. As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Work with state-of-the-art technology stack and deliver features in our microservice ecosystem.
● Build, maintain, develop, test, deploy and enhance our products and features.
● Identify obstacles to ensure quality and improve our user experience and how we build our products.
● Work with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.
● Build for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
● 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in an agile environment
● Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful Microservices
● Experience with Java frameworks or toolkits such as Spring Boot, Vert.x, Netty, Micrometer or Quarkus
● Knowledge of both NoSQL databases, caching and messaging systems
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team
NICE TO HAVES
● Online gaming, gambling or sports betting experience
