ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media Team Lead to join our vibrant marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient, proactive leader with a proven track record in managing successful social media campaigns that drive online sales and customer acquisition. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, solve problems independently, and lead a team to deliver outstanding results.

 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals to drive online sales and customer acquisition.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 4 social media specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the creation and curation of engaging, high-quality content for all major social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Plan, implement, and optimise social media campaigns to maximise reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Utilise analytics tools to track performance, generate insights, and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media activities.
  • Identify and resolve issues independently, ensuring the smooth operation of social media initiatives without the need for constant direction.
  • Work closely with the Country Managers and other departments to ensure alignment of social media strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure LeoVegas remains at the forefront of social media innovation.

 

 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms and experience in leveraging their advertising capabilities for business growth.
  • Proven track record of generating online sales and driving customer acquisition through social media campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of identifying and resolving issues independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
