ABOUT THE ROLE               
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Legal Counsel to join our Legal team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding our company through complex legal landscapes, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our legal strategies and safeguarding our business interests. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:       

  • Drafting, reviewing and offering guidance on a variety of contracts, in particular game provider agreements, and any other legal documentation as required;
  • Negotiating legal terms directly with suppliers;
  • Assisting in the resolution of disputes, including contract disputes, player claims and other litigation, collaborating with external legal counsel as required;
  • Drafting and filing corporate documents, ensuring group entities’ compliance with corporate law requirements in various jurisdictions, provide legal support and advice on all group entity corporate matters;
  • Assisting with M&A projects as required;
  • Providing general legal advice and support on a range of issues and rising the business awareness around key legal risks and mitigations;
  • Supporting innovation and use of technology to simplify and improve the delivery of legal services;
  • Monitoring, researching and advising on relevant legal developments, industry regulations, and best practices in various jurisdictions to ensure the company’s legal strategies remain current and effective.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential skills:
 
 
 

  • 2-5 years experience either in-house or within a private practice law firm (qualified lawyer in an EU jurisdiction or the UK) with exposure to legal work related to online gaming 
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing various types of agreements.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills and sound judgement.
  • Proactive approach in identifying legal risks and proposing practical preventive strategies.
  • Self-driven and able to take ownership of all tasks and projects and drive them through to completion, while managing competing priorities.
  • Uphold a high standard of work ethic, always ensuring to complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Experience iGaming industry.
