QA Engineer - Retention

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This includes developing test plans, writing and executing test cases, and debugging and reporting defects. The QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to ensure that the software meets all necessary requirements and is delivered on time.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Collaborate with the development team to understand and analyse requirements, and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies
● Design and develop test cases, including automated, functional, regression, and performance testing
● Execute test cases and document defects and issues found during testing
● Debug and troubleshoot defects and issues
● Maintain and update the test case repository
● Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing process
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
● You are experienced with testing automation with a focus on UI testing
● You know Javascript (we write our automation tests in JS)
● You understand Java/Kotlin (as you will be testing backend as well)
● You have strong problem-solving and communication skills
● You speak English fluently (B2/C1 level is a minimum, as we communicate in English)
NICE TO HAVES
● Familiarity with MySQL, Selenium and/or TestRail
● Experience with testing methodologies, including agile and waterfall
