International Logistics Supervisor - Documentation
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: This role leads and develops a documentation team responsible for accurate, compliant, and timely export and trade documentation for Frozen Pork products, while serving as the in-house expert on regulatory and customs requirements. The position drives process improvement, data integrity, and KPI performance through close collaboration with IT, analytics, and cross‑functional partners. Success requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset to support business decisions and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and manage documentation staff effectively, including workflow/coaching.
- Responsible for all documentation, including preparing/auditing export documentation and validating documentation data integrity and accuracy.
- Inhouse regulation expert, including, but not limited to: USDA, Export documents, specific trade/country requirements, Customs compliance (AES).
- Problem solving mind set.
- Ability to follow up on outstanding issues and implement processes and solutions to fix it.
- Direct responsibility for team’s performance and development of KPI’s.
- Direct involvement with our IT and Business Analytics Teams in process improvement projects.
- Constantly coach and develop each team member to be the best in our industry.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with different stakeholders such as sales, customers, vendors, team members, and other internal or external departments.
- Ensure that the team has the right tools in place and essential information to make the best business decisions.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of costs accruals entered in SAP.
- Responsible for the data accuracy and keeping systems, reports, sales, and dashboards updated with the most recent and accurate information.
- Run, analyze, and fix exceptions reports.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-5 years professional experience; direct management experience a plus.
- Letter of credit experience is a plus.
- Experience with international shipping.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to details.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while staying organized.
- Must be process oriented; have superb time management and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and influence with management and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and ask questions as needed.
- Experience in SAP and Qlikview systems preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $70,000 - $80,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
