Supply Chain Manager

 

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for Pilgrim’s that reports to the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. This person will report to the Director of Case Ready Sales, and will be responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation and day-to-day execution of supply chain for the Case Ready Business Unit.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize a supply chain network with multiple distribution centers and manufacturing locations supporting multiple sales channels. Lead transformation of current business model to a supply chain partnering with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage supply chain organization encompassing strategic (demand/capacity planning, supply planning, and system optimization) and tactical functions (forecasting, scheduling, and distribution)
  • Implement and reinforce current best practices across all supply chain functions including demand/capacity planning, service targets, S&OP process, inventory strategy, new product development, and product lifecycles
  • Develop, implement and achieve targets for key performance indicators at a line, manager, and executive level, to include capacity utilization/efficiency, schedule adherence, lead times, on-time delivery, order fill rates, excess/obsolete inventory, etc
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within company and global guidelines as well as import requirements
  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, or similar field required
  • 3+ years of mid-level supply chain experience required
  • Previous experience in poultry company strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time to poultry plants across the country
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills including advanced Excel capability
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of individuals within and outside of the company
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $80,000-$95,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
