COLD STORAGE -(EVENING SHIFT)

Hourly Production Moorefield, West Virginia

Position at Pilgrim's

Duties and Responsibilities listed below include, but are not limited to:

Must obtain a valid jack license through Pilgrim’s
Must follow all safety rules required to operate a power jack safely and effectively.
Must learn to install glad-hand locks and proper placement of trailer stands before loading trailers.
Must learn to use the Load levelers and safely operate them and the dock locks.
Must be familiar with all product codes.
Must be able to operate and maintain power jack/forklift (i.e. rotate batteries, and fill out pre-shift check list daily)
Must learn to use the Shop Floor shipping system to scan product to the orders, and to verify inventory in order to properly rotate products.
Must have above average math skills.
Must monitor product for torn boxes, leakers, packaging issues and broken pallets before shipping product to customer.
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, grasp, pull, lift, and twist.
Must sort all incoming pallets.
Must maintain an accurate schematic for each load Shipping.
