PPE/Laundry 
The PPE/Laundry supervisor is responsible for overseeing the in-house laundry process as well as the company's inventory of ppe items, including receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, conducting regular audits, and supervising a team covering 3 shifts to maintain efficient operations and minimize losses. This supervisor will be a critical point in providing production areas their daily necessities to perform successfully and safely.
Key responsibilities of a supervisor:
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential stock outs or overstocking issues.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Track inventory movements and transactions using inventory management systems.
  • Review and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Staff Supervision:
  • Lead and supervise a team, including assigning tasks, providing training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure team members follow established inventory procedures and safety protocols.
  • Address and resolve inventory-related issues within the team.
  • Ensure uniforms and ppe items are cleaned to high standards
Purchasing and Ordering: 
  • Collaborate with purchasing department to place orders with vendors based on inventory levels and demand forecasts.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management, including stock levels, turnover rates, and cost analysis.
  • Identify and analyze inventory trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize stock levels.
  • Prepare and present data-driven insights to improve inventory management strategies.
Laundry
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.
  • Maintain chemical inventory and tracking for laundry
  • Deliver soiled laundry to laundry area from both floors
  • Ensure processes are followed for cleanliness standards
  • Deliver clean laundry bags to different areas of the plant for next shifts
Compliance and Quality Control:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
