Inventory Supervisor
Description:
- Must have outstanding attention to detail to ensure all plant needs for Inbound trailer inventory, trailer inventory, packaging needs, and production needs are fulfilled.
- Coordinates with accounting team/purchasing to ensure they are aware of changes in plant needs and to ensure continuous supply of materials.
- Coordinates material offloading with the accounting team/purchasing to ensure daily production supplies are available.
- Advises Purchasing and Operations on material shortages or unusual usages.
- Communicates effectively with Operations for their needs and communicates this with the purchasing team.
- Manage day-to-day activities of all assigned employees.
- Manage absenteeism and vacation time for all employees.
- Operates Forklift and in necessary equipment in dept.
- Assist Purchasing department as needed.
- Works with USDA and plant QA dept on any food safety or plant SOP procedures.
- Provides all tasks assigned by Operations Manager.
Requirements:
- High School Degree or GED preferred
- 1-3 years supervisory experience
- Experience with Inventory control preferred
- Good computer skills required
- Self-motivator
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Forklift experience preferred
- Must comply with all GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Safety regulations and procedures
