Corporate Payroll Tax Coordinator

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is looking for a Payroll Tax Coordinator to join our Shared Services team onsite at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO. This person will assist in processing payroll taxes in the U.S. and Canada for 68,000+ team members. We are looking for a long-term team member to grow within the company and help us fulfill our mission of being the best in all that we do.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit weekly tax wires for payment for U.S. and Canada
• Research and correct any discrepancies between JBS and ADP balancing
• Correct tax errors from weekly payroll processing
• Aid in requesting new payroll state, SUI and local tax accounts
• Assist in quarterly and yearly tax filing of US W2s
• Assist in yearly filing of Canada T4s
• Testing of regulatory changes in SAP
• Generate weekly reports
• Answer general questions from employees about tax setup
• Miscellaneous payroll tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Payroll knowledge required
• 0-3 years of experience in similar role
• SAP, ADP, Excel knowledge preferred
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the job
• Must have attention to detail and high level of accuracy 
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, proactive, and dependable
• Must be able to multi-task various projects and tasks
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely to internal and external customers
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; and
• Base salary range of $23-$24/hr;

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, JBS and Pilgrim’s is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
