Description

The Senior Solutions Consultant demonstrates Tyler’s solutions to prospective clients for a wide variety of solutions.  The incumbent is highly experience, with in-depth product knowledge and expertise.  The Senior Solutions Consultant may also provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.  The accuracy of the demonstration is critical to having a successful sale.  Further, the Senior Sales Consultant provides direction and guidance to other staff, thus affecting the output of the department and the accuracy with which demonstrations are produced.  This, then, affects potential sales. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Clearly and accurately demonstrate Tyler’s solutions to prospective clients for in-depth and/or critical solutions.
  • Maintain various test environments to ensure a successful demonstration.
  • Communicate clearly.
  • Show professionalism when dealing with all aspects of internal and external relationships.
  • 30% - 70% travel.
  • Builds and maintains the demonstration software database.
  • Travels to prospective client sites to demonstrate in-depth features for Tyler solutions.
  • Develops processes and strategies to further enhance the demo experience for prospective clients.
  • May provide guidance and direction to other staff.
  • Tests enhancements to the software and implements enhancements in the test database.
  • May assist sales team in responding to requests for proposals from prospective agencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Tyler solutions essential.
  • Previous experience demonstrating software solutions critical.
  • Previous sales experience in the software industry a plus.
  • Must possess a competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.  Previous public speaking experience a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter in addition to a team player.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and employees required.
  • Must possess general computer (PC) literacy and proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
