Account Representative
Description
The Account Representative is responsible for driving growth within Tyler’s existing Municipal Justice client base by promoting software solutions and services that strengthen court operations. This role focuses on expanding client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and consistently achieving or exceeding annual sales targets. Account Representatives specializing in Tyler’s Municipal Justice solutions partner closely with clients to streamline workflows, improve information sharing across departments, and support long-term operational success.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Tyler’s products and services to effectively support and expand existing client relationships.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients to identify needs and promote additional solutions.
- Proactively engage clients to uncover opportunities and introduce new offerings that align with their goals.
- Clearly communicate product capabilities, address questions, and resolve concerns to advance the sales process.
- Follow up on leads from internal teams and respond promptly to client inquiries.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Attend user group meetings, trade shows, and onsite client visits as needed.
- Assist in preparing responses to RFP’s and other formal procurement documents.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned annual sales quota.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in the court domain is a plus.
- Prior software sales experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working within sales CRM system is a plus.
- Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills; public speaking experience is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency with PC applications and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel 25%-50% annually.
- Valid driver’s license required.
